I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. The check-in process was easy, and the front desk staff were nice. However, the room felt outdated and had issues with noise from the trains at night. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and I don't think I would choose this place again when visiting McCook.

The hotel has a lot going for it, including clean rooms and a cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed a really nice breakfast and the pool area is fantastic for families or those wanting to unwind. However, it does feel a bit outdated and there were some issues with maintenance that could be improved. Also, I faced some challenges with the service related to my check-out which left a sour taste in my mouth.
